Browse remote directories
Open SFTP from a saved host to browse its directories. Console Hub relays file operations through the backend using the configured connection; the browser does not receive reusable SSH credentials.
Upload and download files
Upload or download files within the paths your remote account can access. File-operation permissions in Console Hub add another access boundary; they do not grant filesystem privileges that the remote account lacks.
Edit text files
Edit UTF-8 text files within the editor’s size limit. Review your changes before saving. Conflict checks help you avoid overwriting changes made since you opened the file.
Protect sensitive files
Do not include private keys, passwords, production configuration or customer data in screenshots and tickets. Back up important configuration before editing it, and use your organization's normal change review.
